Leon is just 2 yrs young and 40# - he is not a Redbone hound...just a music aficionado. He may have some Tennessee Treeing Brindle hound in him....our computer software just doesn't have that breed as an option~ He has lived with a 13# poodle x gal and is selectively good with other dogs...generally those smaller than him & bigger too now (we've discovered). The introduction is important - and he has successfully played in the dog park. We're working with his social skills. Thusfar, his BFF is Willy! He has striking coloring and is so handsome~ Hope you can meet/greet him soon - he prefers to get acquainted at the sanctuary rather than mobile events. If it's a puppy or a shy dog, only Apple Valley sanctuary meets are available. For everyone else, we have mobile adoptions available- please visit our home page for venues. All our dogs are spayed/neutered and fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a new leash, collar, a coupon booklet from PetSmart and/or Petco, and all medical records.
