Maggie is about 2 years young, 25# and is a lemon beagle. She was rescued from a public shelter and unlikely to be adopted because she had a good deal of hair loss and scabs caused by demodex - an inherited, non-contagious mange. She has full hair and looks great now from pretty simple bathing treatments and medication as needed. She needs good quality food and a low stress life....good for anybody, eh? We're counting on her loving personality and kind gentle ways getting her a stellar home - might that be you? If it's a puppy or a shy dog, only Apple Valley sanctuary meets are available. For everyone else, we have mobile adoptions available- please visit our home page for venues. Note: For the mobile adoptions, please email us your application at least 3 days in advance so that we can get to know you and your family. This helps us send compatible pooches. All our dogs are spayed/neutered and fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a new leash, collar, a coupon booklet from PetSmart and/or Petco, and all medical records.
