She's a 4 year, 8# chiweenie gal. Her BFF is Carly- they're quite a cute petite pair. A bit shy at first, TLC, yummy food and belly rubs will fix that in short order. UPDATE: She has come a long ways from her arrival on 12/xxxx. She actually lets our staff pet & love her now! Such a sweetie. Has always been shy, but never hostile. The beauty of coming to our sanctuary is that you can see all 90 dogs! Loads of fun. We can take about 10 dogs to the mobile events and want to get to know your family so, if you chose to come to one of our events, we'll have dogs that will be a good fit for you....We want the dog/s to succeed and for you to be happy. If it's a puppy or a shy dog, only Apple Valley sanctuary meets are available. For everyone else, we have mobile adoptions available- please visit our home page for venues. Note: For the mobile adoptions, please email us your application at least 3 days in advance so that we can get to know you and your family. This helps us send compatible pooches. For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section and follow the instructions. All our dogs are spayed/neutered and fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a new leash, collar, a coupon booklet from PetSmart and/or Petco, and all medical records.
